When you are new to an art form, it takes time to achieve a clear professional finish in one go. Don’t burden yourself with it. Once the first layer has dried, you can apply a second coat to any remaining areas.

Simply Mosaics™ Mirror Mosaic Paste takes 3-4 hours to dry. After this time, if the artwork feels cool to the touch, give it an additional hour. If it feels at room temperature, it has dried completely. Do not use a heat gun or dryer.

Yes, if you want to change the shade of the color or make it look more saturated or bright upon drying. You can also mix two pastes for a twin shade or to create a third color.

No, Mirror Mosaic Artworks are designed to retain the shine and allure of the mirrors. Any external varnish on the surface of the mirrors can interfere with the natural reflection and affect its shine. Therefore, these artworks are never varnished.

Ideally, it is not required. However, if the object you are creating needs to be used daily or for holding heavy objects that may affect the mirror’s shine, you may choose to do so. It’s a preference, but be aware it may impact the natural reflection and shine of the mirrors.

Typically, mosaic artworks are considered complete with just the patterns and paste. However, as artists, there are no strict rules. So yes, you can explore painting on top.

Always keep the lid closed when not in use to protect the paste from air. If the paste appears dry, you can add just a little water to adjust the consistency.

A 200-gram jar is enough for two artworks on a 10-inch base. However, the quantity depends on the spacing and intricacy of the mirrors. The ideal ratio for large areas is 10 kg for 100 sq ft. Feel free to DM for more info.
